Part 7 BRAND NEW BOX!!!!

We’ve been working behind the scenes for a long time, I have several more boxes, as well as boxes that would be applicable and simplified for children or teens. But this one is an advanced box but I still think it will be easy to learn. Guys, this is so exciting!!

BRAND NEW BOX

BOX FIVE- Offensive Box- Strategy Box

Name: Life Experience Box

Purpose: This box is the first in a new series I’m sure. It’s been rolling around in my brain for a while but all the elements finally came together while I was revising the  beyond control box. The past boxes were your first two line of defenses (like Defense in Football) to be able to live and function in this world. Once you have mastered those first two and you have a grasp on them, you can benefit from this box because it is an OFFENSE box. This is a box that helps you get ahead and advance in life, not just fight off attacks. This box is related closely to beyond control box, because many things you have sorted there (like loss or failure) was placed there to calm your mind when it was in distress. Now that your brain has been able to calm down. There’s an important perspective that needs to be reviewed to determine and evaluate a new asset.  This whole box may be a secondary landing space, but considering items to store here will be VERY beneficial in helping your mind and well being. You may have gotten pretty good at being able to gauge your resources when pressed with a situation that is posing a threat to it, but so far we haven’t talked much about all the ASSETS you have to be able to accommodate all the different requests you face in life. You have MANY ASSETS in your Necessary box, but those are more easily acquired because they make sense, but they should not be ignored and always considered when evaluating your resources. BUT The most VALUABLE asset in this life is LIFE EXPERIENCE. Unlike money, fame, power, fortune, success, which are ALL THINGS that can be taken from you by circumstances beyond your control, life experience/knowledge cannot be taken from you. No matter how many back up plans you have, SOME TIMES you get dealt a really crappy hand. Even when you are so logical and smart about your choices. For example, NO ONE could control that the entire world went into a pandemic, and even the most responsible of people who had ample life savings, lost tremendous loses that were beyond their control.

I repeat, life experience CANNOT be taken from you once you have it. Life experience gives you framework for how to navigate. Life experience makes you more relatable to others. Life experiences make you HUMAN. Life experience is crucial feedback to determine different paths. Learning knowledge from our failures gives us knowledge that is incredibly VALUABLE.

Friendships and Relationships are part of life experiences, even failed ones because it gives you a framework on where you went wrong and  what to do the next time. Giving up on friends and family opens you to losing out on what could be a tremendous resource. If you’ve ever played the game of RISK you can probably see the importance of playing your cards right and having streategy. Life is about playing your cards right. For the most part of the game, your gameplay is enhanced if you form alliances. Alliances are there when you don’t have the resources to meet a demand and likewise they appreciate when support is reciprocated when needed. You often join forces because you have a common goal. Investing in friendships is crucial for having alliances when you need it. These types of relationships are not only logically based, but humans are also wired to have a desire to connect. (Remember the enrichment box when determining if you have a reasonable amount of resources to give when needing to offer support, friends and family do not inherently want you to put yourself in a detrimental position to help them.) The enrichment box helps you figure out a safe boundary for that.

Failure is not a waste of time. Failure can often show you all the ways you SHOULDNT do something and can lead to success if you alter and change your approach with each attempt. This is how Thomas Edison  got the lightbulb. This is also how WE DISCOVERED our BREAKTHROUGH. This can be a benefit in HELPING someone else who struggles with something similar that you have now mastered. Had you not had all the failures you had, you would not have had the discoveries you had either. Life experience always comes at a cost. But its always worth it.  You have one life to live and you can pack in the experiences and make it the most EFFICIENT life possible. For all my manual processors reading this. I know you have an insatiable desire to maximize what you’ve been given.  If you have one life to live and you want to make the most of every second of it, would you not want to pack in as much life experience as possible? Every time you engage in life experience, even the negative ones, you are making the most of your life existence. Thats the great news.

I’m going to logically explain why it’s inefficient to measure life in terms of  the traditional win/lose, profit/loss, failure/success. Considering knowledge and life experience is the only elements of existence that have value that cannot be taken away by someone else’s choices (example, the knowledge you have learned and and the experiences you’ve lived through first hand cannot be taken away simply because someone wants you to forget it. This is one of the only elements of your life that you  have complete control over. You can OWN this power and harness it. You may not always have control over the situations or life experiences you have to face. But no one can rob you of your life experience and knowledge gained. This stays with you.

If  you reevaluate all the previously filed losses, failures, mistakes, etc… and measure the energy used VS Life experience and knowledge gained. You have just received a whole NEW logical approach to failure and mistakes. Learning and life experience is what is important and measures success. Now losing a game does not equate a waste of time. If nothing else, You learned about what you should or should not do faced with a similar situation next time and how you will come back stronger.  With every mistake or  failure you are gaining valuable knowledge. If you can learn to quickly identify and organize it with your other assets, it not only makes you more and more powerful to handle the problems thrown at your way,  but allows you to be strategic and find a pathway to get ahead of the game. Sounds like a dream right? This is a huge LIFE hack that usually comes pretty naturally for automatic processors, and if its not already built in, this is why they have tons of self help books about it. But usually, they don’t explain how to get there in terms you understand. Now you know, with every failure, you are essentially on the path to mastering that element of your life. Like a video game where you get to rank and level up, each mistake helps you get farther with each new attempt. No one ever picks up a video game controller expecting to beat the game with no mistakes (even my genius Mannies… well maybe some of you do!) But thats not realistic for most people and to have that expectation for life is also unrealistic. When you have learned to not let this negatively impact your mental energy (with the charts). Its like you gave yourself infinite extra lives on your video game. There’s no fear of failure if you have infinite retries. Before you learned about beyond control or this box, it was like you were trying to play a video game with ONE respawn. You couldn’t afford any mistakes.  HOW STRESSFUL. You wondered how everyone else seemed to have unlimited respawns. Now you can do that too. Do not be afraid of failure. IT’s not an incomprehensible loss. It can be an asset.

Huge losses:

Sometimes you take HUGE losses. (IN THE RED) That happens in life. Its crucial to recognize  when there has been a huge loss. Huge losses USUALLY have HUGE potential for growth with life experience and knowledge, but can be hard to identify the benefit because you are too busy dealing with the massive blow to look for potential assets. Don’t beat yourself up over this. This is ALSO part of being human. Feeling HURT and LOSS is ACTUALLY a life experience in itself. Experiencing losses with no apparent benefit and OVERCOMING that is another example of life experience and character growth that you gain from that experience. Everything is literally a learning experience. Sometimes you need time and perspective to be able to see it.  So this is why you have this box. You  can evaluate things here now, later, or whenever you feel you are ready.

BENEFIT of this Box: Identify and organize your assets. Asset’s are another form of a resource

Measurement:RISK/BENEFIT- Resource Expenditure vs life experience/knowledge  gained.

Criteria For Sorting:

Identify a previous or current loss, failure, liability to be evaluated: (this can be new or previously filed as beyond Control, even things from the trash can be sorted here)

  1. Identify  purpose/benefit: Life experience/knowledge
  2. Identify the level of experience/knowledge gained: ***You can consider  your Benefit Assessment chart***
  3. Estimate The level of expenditure on your resources: **evaluate energy Assessment chart From Beyond Control box**
  4. Determine sorting place: When determining Past failures, its OK to have items that were attained by large losses with high risk. Those usually have significant benefit in some way and you just need to search a little more for it.   You can determine what you feel is valuable to sort here. IF there seems to be no value still, you can always just shove it in BEYOND CONTROL.
  5. Enjoy seeing your assets collectively in your mind!

Remember, life experience will always have an expenditure. Thats normal. You have to spend time going to school, but you end up with knowledge. Even if you didn’t finish college, you still have all the life experiences and knowledge you gained. Even if you forgot most of what you learned academically, chances are you STILL had experiences during that time frame that taught you things that you may not have been able to learn under different circumstances. Whether that was meeting people at the right place and the right time in your life, or simply learning that knowledge isn’t always learned in a classroom. Maybe you recognized you had poor habits or self care that led to you not finishing, and you were able to change your habits and behaviors. If you hadn’t recognized that already, you could determine and gather that information now.
