Hey guys!! I’m always looking for ways to automate more processes for you guys! If change could be easy, would that be helpful? Heres a box to help you navigate change. Make sure you have mastered the first two boxes (enrichment and beyond control) before you worry about anything else, or this will just OVERWHELM you with MORE things your brain has to worry about. When layered on the proper foundation, this will be EASIER for you!!

Name: Pause/ On-Hold/Transition Box (Advanced)

Purpose:  This box helps your mind comprehend change so it doesn’t hurt nearly as much like it used to. Change will become as easy as _______ (insert easy activity of choice.) This box has similarities to the enrichment box because many times you are fulfilling requests by those you care about and the requests made here are usually important to the person asking (for many reasons). This box also includes requests made by people you don’t necessarily want to care about, but need to (like a boss or teacher). This box is where you sort requests that require you to STOP your preferred current activity. Since your current activity is preferred, you are receiving a level of reward to participate in it, no one would want to stop doing something enjoyable to do something they do not value. This box helps you transition and determine if your current activity can be finished later without too much inconvenience, and measures the importance, value,  and benefits that may be involved. 

BENEFIT: Being capable of pausing an activity helps you to be more flexible. It helps you to change and adapt to your surroundings. For thousands of years, it’s the animals and humans who learn how to adapt (change) to their surroundings that survive and thrive. This box and chart will show you how to do that.  Among many benefits, It also helps your family, friends, coworkers, or classmates feel IMPORTANT to you when you can stop an activity when they need/request your presence or assistance. This helps build friendships and emotional trust. 

Life requires change, it will also include inconveniences.  Inconvenience is not completely avoidable and is a necessary part of gaining life experience. (You are already familiar with this!) This box has the intention of helping you articulate when a requirement would negatively affect your resources beyond repair and helps you communicate this. This will help you clearly see where you need to make negotiations with those requesting things of you. This helps you have healthy boundaries and minimize inconveniences while making those you care about feel loved and important. This also helps you fulfill responsibilities and duties without being upset about it. A really important part of this box is that it helps you to use your agency, think critically, quickly,  and determine if there is an abuse of power and protects you from being taken advantage of by others (scammers).  

Measurement: Risk/Return Level of Inconvenience vs Level of importance of loved ones or authority figures.
